two and a half more pieces today. all of which where projects for my illustrative activism class.This first is a political cartoon about the pieing of Canada's Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Gail Shea.

I'm not dead I just look that way

Now that the semester is almost half over I have some crap to put up, both old and new. Lets start with some old. This is a piece I did last year for a day of the dead poster. .

This is the 2nd Oil painting I've ever done. The concept behind this is that of a twisted fairy tail. I choose the story of the pied piper. After reading the original story I found it was much more sinister then I had thought. In fact there were no rats in the original just a man who led children out of the town never to be seen again.

And so here it is. The man, the monster, the myth. Yes, yes he is wearing a mask of children faces

Wont be the last time.

wow look at me breaking promises to the internet  like a deadbeat dad already and it's only like the first week in. But it was for a just reason. I was working on a concept for a phone app that turns your mobile device in to a bitchin' multimedia remote for an Entertainment PC.

It has begun

So I continue to expand my online presence with now, a blog. I'm going to try to keep this updated as much as I can and later integrate it with hodginsdesign.com once I finish that. And because of that and my on again off again love affair with web design. the template of this page is probably going to change a lot in the weeks to come. That is all for now.
